Let's Party!

Our Gala Party Boards have a new twist this year...when you sign up to attend one of our 13 - count em' 13!! - events, you will receive one of these cleverly designed paint brushes. Each different colored "bristle" represents a different party which will be punched to indicate your purchase.

It is on a lanyard so you can just wear your "Party Passport" around your neck (or your husband's neck) all evening and present to Yvonne Evans at checkout :)

Come on out and kick up your heels!

The Auction

Silent Auction Bidding Procedures

1. Items for bid in the Auction will be on display from 6:30pm until each board closes.
2. Bidding will begin at $20.00, except where a minimum bid is indicated. All bids must be entered in $5.00 increments. Any bid not in $5.00 increments will be considered invalid.
3. A person desiring to bid does so by printing his/her name, paddle number, description of item, and amount of bid on green auction slip and handing it to a volunteer manning that table. That person’s bid amount will then be written on the Auction Board.
4. Five (5) minutes prior to the board closing, the board will go “silent”. At that time, a person desiring to bid does so by printing his/her name and amount of bid on an auction slip provided, and handing it to one of the volunteers manning that particular Auction Board.
5. Winners name will be posted at the close of each silent auction board, once the highest bid is cataloged. Items or gift certificates may be picked up at check out upon payment.
6. Bids made on all items after the five (5) minutes of Silent bidding when the board officially closes will not be accepted. Absolutely no bids will be taken after a board closes.
7. If two or more bids for the same amount on any item are received, the winning bid will be determined by the LUCK OF THE DRAW.
8. In the event of a dispute, a designated auction official will determine the winning bidder. The official’s decision will be final.

Live Auction Bidding Procedures

1. The Live Auction will begin at approximately 9:00 p.m.
2. The auctioneer will explain the method of bidding at the beginning of the sale.
3. Please note the booking times, blackout dates, expiration dates, and other restrictions and limitations presented in the program for various trips, hotel stays, gift certificates for goods and services, and other items. Many items have restrictions regarding timing and space availability.
4. The buyer is responsible for contacting the donor for all arrangements and redeeming any certificates for goods and/or services.
5. All auction items are sold "as is." No statement contained in this booklet or made orally at the sale regarding condition of any item shall be a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability. Buyer assumes the risk of any certificate redeemable for goods or services becoming unredeemable after the Gala for any reason, including but not limited to insolvency of the donor or acts of natural causes. All Auction items are non-refundable.
6. The auctioneer has absolute discretion in determining the successful bidder. At the fall of the auctioneer's hammer, title to the offered lot will pass to the bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer. The bidder thereupon assumes full risk and responsibility and will pay full purchase price for the said lot.
7. Upon being declared the winner of an item, proceed to the front of the stage so that item may be cataloged with your name, etc.
8. No live auction merchandise will be released before the end of the live auction.
9. All items must be purchased at the Check-Out desk, according to the Check-Out procedures that follow. If you have a change of heart, please consider it a donation!
10. Buyer must remove all purchased items from the premises on the night of the Gala. Any item not removed from the premises is left at the risk of the purchaser.

Caroling Through the Lanes Progressive Party – Patron Party Exclusive
December 2009
Appetizers and drinks in one house – sing a little. Dinner in another house – sing a little. Then dessert in yet another house – getting the idea? Each course of this party is in a different house. All the homes line the lovely Christmas lit lanes of Lake Vista and party goers can carol their way from one mini party to the next – what a great way to end the year.
Hosted by: The Bourdais, Bergeron, Chachere, Francioni, and McClure Families
$50 per couple; Limited to 15 couples
